2:00PM - Speaker meeting: Steven Franklin – Merry and Bright Daylilies
Shelbyville, Kentucky

Steven has been passionately collecting and hybridizing daylilies for over a decade in Shelbyville, Kentucky. His garden is home to approximately 1,400 registered cultivars and thousands of seedlings currently under evaluation. Specializing primarily in diploids, Steven focuses on miniature and small varieties, while also exploring unusual forms and select tetraploids. With each bloom, Steven strives to create daylilies that spark happiness and joy.

NOTE: 2027 Planning Meeting - We will have the Speaker meeting first, and then the regular business meeting afterward so that the speaker can get back on the road toward home. REMINDER: This is the Planning meeting for club meetings, events, and activities for the upcoming year(s.) Suggestions for next year's speakers and other club events are needed in order to help the club thrive with new activities!! Also, we will need garden host volunteers for the Club Summer Open Gardens!
