06/26/2021 - ChDC Open Gardens: TENA FELTS, LOUISE WALTON, DEB PARSONS

Saturday June 26, 2021

ChDC Open Gardens 2021:
Tena and Pete Felts - 9:00am - 10:00am (Please note it is approx 30 minutes travel time between EACH location.)
Louise Walton - 10:30pm - 11:30am
Debbie Parsons (Deb's Daylilies) - 12:00pm - 4:00pm
A vendor will be on site @ Deb's Daylilies selling barbecue, baked beans, and coleslaw for lunch. There will also be music for your enjoyment. Debbie has a lot of shade, will have picnic tables for our use, but it may be good to bring chairs with you should they be needed at any location. I also would suggest having an ample supply of bottled water or drinks in a cooler. For those of you who like sangria, well you are in for another treat!

PUT JUNE 26TH ON YOUR CALENDAR NOW TO ENJOY THE FLOWERS!
(The addresses for these gardens will be provided via private email to the ChDC club members, and can be provided upon verified request for anyone else that wishes to view the gardens and find out more about the Charlottesville Daylily Club. Please email any questions or requests for additional information to the Charlottesville Daylily Club email (charlottesvilledaylilyclub@gmail.com).

Remember to bring water or whatever you need to keep yourself hydrated (and fed if not partaking of the food truck at Debs Daylilies), as everyone is on their own for this event and nothing will be provided by the club.

NOTE: Daylily gardens are best seen in the morning for the darker colored flowers, but can go into the afternoon as long as it's not blisteringly hot.

This is always lots of fun for folks of all ages!

REMINDER: Please remember to pay your annual dues by January 31st in order to participate in the ChDC plants for members programs (based on eligibility.) If for some reason the January meeting is cancelled, annual dues are still required to be paid by the 31st.

01/31/2022 - Dues are DUE by Jan. 31st!!

Monday January 31, 2022
Money money money

This is a reminder that Annual Dues are due (postmarked) by 1/31 in order to participate in the P4M Program. Annual INDIVIDUAL Membership dues are $10.00, and are the same for a FAMILY membership. An individual membership allows for 1 person to pick plants at the annual Plants for Members Distribution meeting (as long as the rest of the requirements have been met), and a family membership does the same. If more than one person in the family wants to grow plants that are distributed through the Plants for Members program, each individual must have a membership to the club (i.e. 1 member picking = 1 FAMILY membership, but 2 family members picking would require 1 INDIVIDUAL membership and 1 FAMILY (or a 2nd INDIVIDUAL) membership.)

If you are not a member of the club but would like to join and get involved, we would be more than happy to provide you with the membership registration form and talk to you about this fantastic club!! Please email the club account at charlottesvilledaylilyclub@gmail.com for additional information and a membership form. (For security purposes, we do not have the membership form attached to this event as it has a mailing address on it, but we will email you the form upon request.)

Dues can be paid at an upcoming meeting, or mailed to Christina Lawrence (Treasurer) or Angie Bowald (Vice President.) Again, please be aware that current memberships must be paid by January 31st in order to be eligible for the Plants For Members Program.
